Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 21 April 2026
Short version: Free plan forever — no card required. Upgrade to a paid custom plan when you outgrow the quotas. Cancel anytime; you keep access until your current period ends. 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid charge.
1. Free plan
Every new workspace starts on the Free plan with no card or payment details required. The free plan includes generous baseline quotas (see the pricing page for the current limits) and stays free for as long as you're within those quotas.
When you outgrow the free plan — more invoices, more contacts, more team members, or new modules — you can upgrade to a paid custom plan built from the pricing calculator. You only pay from the moment you upgrade.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing in the app, or by emailing billing@globestack.app.
After cancellation:
- Your account remains fully active until the end of your current billing period (month or year you've already paid for)
- On the period-end date, access switches to read-only: you can view and export data but not create new records
- Read-only access continues for 30 days, giving you time to export everything you need
- After the 30-day window, your data is permanently deleted
You will not receive a refund for the unused portion of the current period.
3. Refund policy
3.1 14-day money-back guarantee (first paid cycle only)
If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid charge (day 1–14 of your first paid billing period after upgrading from the free plan), we will refund that period's fee in full — no questions asked.
This guarantee:
- Applies once per organisation, only to the very first paid invoice
- Does not apply to annual plans (separate terms — see Section 3.3)
- Does not apply to opt-in overage charges (when explicitly enabled per-limit)
- Refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment method within 5–7 business days
3.2 After the 14-day window
We don't offer refunds for subscription fees after the first 14 days. If you cancel mid-month, you keep full access through the billing period you've paid for, but no prorated refund is issued.
We believe this policy is fair because:
- The free plan lets you evaluate the full product risk-free, for as long as you need
- The 14-day MBG on your first paid cycle adds a second safety net after upgrade
- You always retain access for the period you paid for
- You can downgrade (including back to the free plan) instead of cancelling to reduce future cost
3.3 Annual plans
Annual plans offer a significant discount (~17%) in exchange for a yearly commitment. Refunds on annual plans are:
- Within 14 days of the first annual charge — full refund
- After 14 days — no refund; you retain access for the remaining 12 months, and you may cancel to prevent automatic renewal at year-end
3.4 Exceptional cases
We will consider partial or full refunds at our discretion in cases of:
- Service outages exceeding 4 hours in a single billing period caused by our infrastructure (not third-party providers)
- Duplicate or erroneous charges
- Billing errors on our side
Email billing@globestack.app with details; we respond within 2 business days.
4. Downgrades (changing to a lower-cost plan)
You can switch to a lower-tier plan anytime. To keep billing simple:
- Your downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing period
- You keep access to the higher-tier features you paid for until that date
- No prorated refund is issued for the unused higher-tier days
5. Upgrades (changing to a higher-cost plan)
Upgrades take effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current billing period, calculated as:
(new plan - old plan) × (days remaining / total days in period)
The new plan applies for the full next billing cycle at the standard rate.
6. Plan limits
Each subscription module ships with monthly quotas (e.g. 5,000 WhatsApp marketing broadcasts, 12,000 invoices/yr). When usage reaches a quota, further activity on that module pauses until you upgrade your tier — there are no automatic overage charges and your wallet is never debited without your action.
We email you at 80% of any limit so you have time to upgrade before the cap. Hit 100% and you'll see an in-app prompt with a one-click path to a higher tier. Other unaffected modules keep working normally; only the capped module pauses.
Power users who explicitly want continuous flow past a cap can opt in per-limit from Settings → Billing (auto-debit from wallet at the published per-step rate). Off by default; refunds for opt-in overage charges are at our discretion.
7. Payment failures
If a scheduled charge fails (e.g. card expired, insufficient UPI balance), we'll retry up to 3 times over 7 days and notify you by email at each attempt. If all retries fail, your subscription moves to past-due state: the account stays active but you'll see an in-app banner. After 14 days in past-due, the subscription is cancelled and you enter the 30-day read-only window described in Section 2.
